Information about us:

Our story began with the opening of our company in 1998. Thanks to the passion, vision and determination of its founder, the company became one of the biggest mushroom producers in Europe. It is a story of a family business built by Anna and Wojciech Sopińscy and currently run by their sons Mateusz and Krystian. Due to many investments in Wólka Kobyla located 100 km east from Warsaw, we were able to create a modern plant with innovative technological solutions that provide optimal management over mushroom production and harvesting. Our experience gained within the years of operating enables us to react swiftly to any changes in both domestic and foreign markets. It allows us to adjust our production to the requirements of even the most demanding clients and compete with other leading producers in the Old Continent. An important step in our growth was the creation the Group of Mushroom Producers Grzybowy Raj Ltd. in 2009 together with another mushroom producer that is R&J Sztandera. A landmark moment was the year 2018 when we built 30 growing rooms and expanded our production by 80%.
In 2021 we built yet another facility to cultivate mushrooms. In order to take care of the environment it was built with the renewable sources of energy expanding our production by another 26%.
Thinking about the future we take into consideration the changing climate. That is why our goal is to keep introducing new environment-friendly solutions to see more of positive effects that we can already witness.

Cultivation Technology

Mushrooms seen on the store shelves are cultivated in the modern growing rooms on the phase III substrate. Pins grow in the computer-controlled microclimate which provides the growth phase with the simulation of an autumn morning – best for the appearance of mushrooms.
Our staff controls the conditions of the microclimate on a systematic basis, taking care of the highest quality of our mushrooms. We build qualified teams which pick the pins with precision and gentleness.

Right after harvesting

Immediately after harvesting mushrooms are placed in the vacuum cooling chambers where within several minutes the temperature of the mushrooms drops to 2,5°C. Next they are being taken to our plant’s coolers and immediately transported to our logistic center – the Grzybowy Raj. There the orders are prepared, packed and sent to our clients.
